Different font sizes on prompt entries

Hi all,

I hope this is something simple that I can fix without too much 'behind the scene' coding.   I have written a report (with Visual Studio 2008-R2) with two prompts; End Date and Fiscal Year.  The End Date only allows 1 date entry but the Fiscal Year allow multiple years to be entered.  My report works find but my boss saw something that I can't exxplain.

After I deploy the report to SharePoint, I enter the prompts on the screen (they both use dropdown lists for the entries).  The prompt area of the screen looks like this:

End Date:   2102-06-30

Fiscal Year:  2012, 2011

The prompts and entries are all supposed to have a font of Arial-11 but the entry 2012-06-30 is a font of Arial-9 (while everything else is Arial-11).

The width of the input boxes is also different - the End Date box is about 1/2 the width of the Fiscal Year box.  I realize this probably has to do with the Fiscal Year being able to accept more than one value but why is the End Date shown in a smaller font?

Thanks for any help you can give me,
Tina
